Once you cancel your booking and the rail provider confirms the cancellation, refunds are generally processed within 5–7 working days. The refunded amount will be credited to your original payment method. Please note that timelines may vary based on the rail provider’s policies.

Ticket Types and Refund Eligibility

  • Flexible Tickets (Off-Peak, Anytime, Super Off-Peak): Generally refundable, subject to an administration fee (typically up to £5).
  • Advance Tickets: Usually non-refundable but can be amended before travel by rebooking a new ticket. Refunds on the original ticket may incur administrative fees.
  • Split Tickets: Refund policies depend on the combination of ticket types and the rail providers involved.
